    Description

    This Vintage Hand Carved Wooden African Inspired Lamp with Handpainted Square Shade is in Excellent Condition!  Outstanding workmanship on both the smooth carved figure, and, the lamp shade!  I am not aware of the type of wood this is made of.  Lamp shade is made of Canvas stretched over Fiberglass shade, handpainted with intricate detail!
    We acquired this lamp with other African inspired pieces at an Estate Auction on the east coast of Florida.  The owners kept numerous pieces of African Art on display in their home.  Our best guess is that this is African but unsure of its origin.
    Rare and Unusual and one-of-a-kind!  Perfect addition to your Art Collection!  Quite the eye-catcher and conversation piece!
    Due to the unusual shape of the shade we are offering Local Pickup to cut shipping costs.  If you're able to pick it up in North Carolina this is a considerable savings.
    **Shade has some dulling of the fiberglass inside which is expected for an item of age (Picture #10)
    **Wooden Figure has a hairline crack/split in the wood on the front as shown in pictures, also expected with a wooden carving of age (Picture #11)
