    Vintage Handcarved African KubaTukula Wooden Purse/Bag/Box/Sculpture Raffia Strap
    This is a very unique, beautiful, hand-carved wooden purse or handbag.
    It is called a Kuba Tukula Box Purse with a Raffia Strap.
    It has a face on the front and another carved face on the top of the lid with a cross hatch carving on the sides that adds texture and interest to the piece.
    It also has a lid to it, and it is African.
    Inside is hollowed out. You can see the marks left behind from the tools used to carve it out.
    There is some normal wear to it from age.
    The bag measures approximately 13" inches high, by 11" inches wide, and 2 ½" inches deep.
    The top can be removed from the bottom portion, but are still attached to each other by the raffia.
    The depth in the bottom portion is approximately 5" inches deep. The bottom portion alone is approximately 7 ¼" inches tall, and the top portion is approximately 7" inches tall.
