    PERRIN TGV Delete plates have been designed to improve the airflow by removing the butterfly mechanism in the factory tumblers. The OE tumbler valve tends to fail after a while so in a sense, this will save you money down the road with simplified intake tract.  There have been attempts to try and drill out the factory butterflies and often times, you will deal with a huge hassle such as metal shavings everywhere, tons of broken dremel bits, and lots of time.
